Crappy Post #2
Yesterday I learned that I have to crop photos before uploading them to wordpress. It uses some kind of aspect ratio in editing mode to crop.
Today I learned that my index card photos are in no way straight. So now, I cropped it well, but the photo is crooked. So much to learn. Good thing I have 100 crappy posts to write.

As you’ll see a few photos from now, I’ve been working on my routines. I don’t want to spend my day rewriting everything between cards, planners, and notebooks. So, what goes on this card everyday? What would I enjoy seeing in this post when I take the follow up photo?
We used to do a daily update of the things we got done. With all the negative self-talk we’ve identified, that might be a fun exercise to do during the dinner routine.
- Did we show up?
- What order did we bring?
- What got checked off our list?

Spectacular gradient effect that I captured by accident. I love these landscape shots and I think I’m finally figuring out how to create the frames. Winter trees, gradient sky, and Mama Moon, too!

This photo would be adorable to print and use as a note card! Obviously, I’m biased toward my own photos, but I’m going to try it anyway.

Ah, routines. My November goal.
I spent the first few days confused. What notebook should I use? Should it be digital?
I quickly circumvented all that noise in my head by using scrap paper. Now I can rewrite until my hand is numb. No negative repercussions like wasting paper or making it perfect before I write anything down and work with it.
I have scattered lists from, it would seem, the beginning of time. This will allow me to integrate what fits, ignore what doesn’t, and… wait for it… THROW AWAY old pieces of paper. I know, the shock!
I’m only working on my quiet time routines in the morning, but it’s already making a difference. I feel less confused, even when I run into a new problem or something I hadn’t considered. So, this is working as a goal.
Once I have them in a good order (not correct, not perfect, not polished), I will move them to my Happy Planner notebooks. I’ll use the tall one for my personal routines and the small notebook- personal size?- for the household’s shared routines.
Notes from This Morning
- I fixed my camera time.
- I created a server in Discord for to-do items. As I was creating routines and working through them, I kept running into issues. So, I created a space to communicate with my family about what needs to be done. That seems to be successful.
Today’s Tasks
I got distracted working on goals and being motivated. The irony is nauseating.
- prep the produce
- organize the errands
- place online orders
- family meeting to discuss time block changes to start streaming tomorrow
Wish me luck. 501 words today!
